Isla Verde Selected Best Urban Beach

USA Today’s readers voted Isla Verde Beach as the best urban beach in the world. USA Today described Isla Verde beach as a “clean and powdery soft, this beautiful stretch of San Juan sand is so unbelievably clean it’s hard to believe it’s urban at all. Beach umbrellas and chairs are available for sunbathing, lounging with a book or people-watching….”

This recognition is a testament to ongoing environmental efforts by residents, tourists and municipal and state governments, to create a resort-style experience and urban ammenities and services.

Isla Verde beach in Carolina has also earned the Blue Flag award for 10 consecutive years.
